Medical Disclaimer
Please read this page before using any information on ChinaMed Access.
1. We are a logistics and information service, not a medical provider
ChinaMed Access is operated by an independent medical-tourism coordination team. We are not a hospital, clinic, or licensed healthcare provider, and our staff do not practise medicine.
2. No medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
Nothing on this website — including guides, price tables, hospital directories, checklists, and FAQ answers — constitutes medical advice, a diagnosis, or a recommendation to undergo any specific treatment, medication, or procedure.
Content on this site is provided for general information and logistical planning only. You should always consult a qualified healthcare professional about your circumstances, and you should never delay or disregard professional medical advice because of something you read here.
3. Verify all external facts yourself
We aim to describe how to navigate hospitals, visas, payments and accommodation in China. Two things follow from that:
- Prices. International medical services in China are independently priced (market-regulated). There is no national official tariff. Figures on this site come from hospital price disclosures or patient-reported quotes, and are marked with a “Last verified” date.
- Visas and policies. Entry rules and hospital contact details change frequently. Always confirm with the National Immigration Administration (nia.gov.cn), the Chinese embassy or visa application centre handling your case, and the hospital's own international department.
4. Emergencies
If you have a medical emergency, do not use this website. In mainland China call 120 for an ambulance or 110 for police. Outside China, use your local emergency number. If you are already under a doctor's care, contact that doctor or your insurer's 24-hour assistance line first.
5. No doctor-patient relationship
Using this site or contacting us does not create a doctor-patient or clinician-patient relationship. Clinical decisions remain between you and your treating clinician.
6. Errors and updates
If you spot something outdated or incorrect, tell us via the contact page. Our correction process is described in the editorial policy.
