Editorial & Correction Policy
Trust is the only asset a medical-tourism site has. This page documents exactly how we research, review and fix what we publish.
1. Scope: what we cover, and what we won't
Our editorial remit is navigation and administration, not clinical practice:
- We cover — entry routes, hospital directories and international departments, appointment mechanics, payment and insurance workflows, interpretation and accompaniment, recovery accommodation, and costs as reported by hospitals and patients.
- We do not cover — symptom checkers, diagnosis, treatment comparisons or endorsements, drug dosing, or any statement about how skilled a particular clinician or hospital is.
This is a deliberate compliance boundary, not a gap in our coverage. Presenting clinical judgement without clinical credentials would be both unsafe and a violation of Google's policies for YMYL pages.
2. How we research each guide
- Start from official sources. Entry rules come from the National Immigration Administration (nia.gov.cn); hospital legitimacy is checked against the National Health Commission registry; the hospital's own international department page is the primary reference for contacts and process.
- Record the source with every figure. Prices are either taken from hospital price disclosures or from dated patient-reported quotes, and the enquiry date is printed on the page.
- Prefer ranges over points. Individual quotes vary by case, so we publish ranges and label them as planning references.
- Distinguish fact from logistics. Where something is inherently variable (queue times, fees, policy detail), we say so instead of implying certainty.
- Re-check on a schedule. Visa/entry content quarterly; hospital directories twice a year; prices quarterly.
3. “Last verified” dates
Each page carries a Last verified date. It means we reviewed the cited official sources on that date — it does not mean the source has not changed since. Treat it as a freshness signal, not a warranty.
4. Corrections
If you find an out-of-date fee, a wrong phone number, or a process step that no longer matches reality, email esan.wu@gmail.com with the page URL and a source we can check.
- We acknowledge substantive reports.
- Verified corrections are applied and the page’s date refreshed.
- Material changes to clinical or cost guidance are noted on the page.
